Louvre at Night
Louvre at Night
Paris is a truly fantastic city to explore and the Louvre is a visit not to be missed, probably because of the most famous painting on earth, the Mona Lisa.
The Louvre also attracts photographers. The beautiful buildings surrounding the site, the glass pyramid, but also the carousel gardens and the Tuileries Garden are very photogenic. The best time to have this place for you is early in the morning before the opening and late in the evening.
I was lucky the day I took that picture during a sunset. The place was empty.
Former residence of the kings of France, the Louvre was one of the richest museums in Paris and has become the most visited with more than 10 million visitors.
