Vegan & Gluten-Free French Toast
Nothing simpler than French toast. I hadn't eaten it for a very long time because since I've been vegan, even though I still sometimes make gaps, I prefer to avoid them when I have a choice.
So I figured I could make my vegan, gluten-free French toast.
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
COOK TIME: 15 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes
Ingredients for vegan & gluten free french toast
3 tbsp (3 c. à soupe) Rice flour or other Gluten-free Flour
1/2 cup (125 g) Vegetable Milk
1 tsp (1 c. à café) Cinnamon (optional)
1 tsp (1 c. à café) Vanilla extract (optional)
1 tsp (1 c. à café) Agave Syrup
Coconut oil
A few slices of gluten-free bread
You can add other ingredients such as orange blossom water, rum, bourbon to the preparation. Adapt it according to your preferences.
Instructions for vegan & gluten free french toast
Mix the rice flour, milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and agave syrup in a shallow dish.
Dip the bread slices on both sides so that the preparation well soaks them.
Oil your pan with coconut oil and then place the slices on each side for about 3 minutes. They should be golden brown.
Garnish your French toast with the toppings of your choice: maple syrup, fruit, chocolate chips, icing sugar.
